Wade Guide TrainingWade fishing can make up a substantial portion of a guides income and all though this can be initially viewed as simple process, wade fishing challenges the guide in many ways. Most student anglers are better suited for wade fishing instruction, and in fact, the fishing portions of most fly fishing schools are usually conducted while wading. Small StreamsThis lesson is available to students who are looking to target wading anglers or interested in specializing in instruction. Rivers Fly Fishing Guide School conducts the small stream portion of this class Pennsylvania’s challenging spring creeks, tailwaters and freestone creeks which include the Letort, Yellow Breeches, Clarks Creek, Tulpehochen and Little Schuylkill. River wade fishingThe"big water" sessions’ targets New York's Delaware River and Pennsylvania’s Lehigh River. Both Fisheries offer significant obstacles when it comes to wading and our instructors have adapted unique strategies for these brawling rivers. Approach, positioning and innovative casting are all a part of the on-water, wade guiding portion of our training program.
